My workouts are mainly resistance training based as, over the years, I have found that weight training is by far the best way to maintain a toned, balanced body linked with aerobic training methods as they are so important for our cardiovascular health as well as being excellent for fat loss.
Resistance training makes it easier to target specific areas of concern whereas many forms of aerobic training fail to do this effectively. Being in shape is mainly about balance, that’s why the resistance training I advocate is balanced with aerobic training, stretching and nutrition.
